How much does a dumpster rental cost in Katy?

Can you deliver a dumpster the same day?
Very often, yes. If you call before about 10am on a weekday we can usually place a container in Katy, Cinco Ranch, Bear Creek or Sealy the same afternoon. Communities further out such as Copperfield or Weston Lakes are generally next-day. The one week we cannot promise it is straight after a hail storm.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Katy?
Not if it sits on your own driveway or private property, which covers the overwhelming majority of our jobs. If the container has to occupy a public street or right of way, you will need a permit from your city — and we serve six counties, so which office depends entirely on the address. Will a dumpster damage my driveway?
Not when it is protected properly. Our drivers carry plywood on every truck and lay it under the container rails on every delivery as standard. The bigger issue here is freeze-thaw — a slab that looks fine in October can be weak by April, and the subgrade goes soft during the spring thaw even when the surface looks perfect.
What can I not put in the dumpster?
No liquids, paint, solvents, fuels, pool chemicals, batteries, tyres, propane cylinders, refrigerant appliances that have not been evacuated, or anything containing asbestos. Texas also bans several things from landfill outright — yard waste, appliances, electronics, tyres and fluorescent tubes. the the Grand Parkway transfer station in Bear Creek takes most of that free for Harris County residents. Everything else is fine.
How long can I keep the container?
Our standard rental period covers the vast majority of jobs, and if you need longer you simply call and we extend it at a modest daily rate. We would rather you kept it an extra three days than rushed the work or overfilled the can.
